I managed to get a few minutes to myself and I actually got a layout done!

My sweet baby.  I can’t believe how fast she’s grown.

Layout Share-Isabella’s Glasses

Early this year we found out that my three year old needed glasses to correct a problem with her eyes. I was worried that she would not like her glasses and not want to wear them. I could not have been more wrong. I used Lynne Simmons’ “Braggin’ Rights Fresh” brag book to create a special album for her so she’ll have something to remember just how proud and excited she was when she got her new glasses. If you get a chance, pick up Lynne’s brag book. It’s beautiful and no detail is overlooked. My daughter loves her new glasses and brag book.

I combined all the brag book pages into one preview:

Scrapbook Page-Swing

I like this photo of Isabella. I think it will find it’s way into more than one scrapbook layout before I am done with it. It’s cropped close in this layout but I think I’ll use the whole photo in another later on. I used a quick page by Alisha Hess that I picked up a while back. If I am not mistaken, this quick page was a freebie she created using her Blue Simplicity page kit. (I used her Blue Simplicity page kit in my blog header on my personal blog as well. Can you tell I like this kit?)

We went to the park today and it seems the swings are just a little too relaxing for Nichola. I had to scrap this photo I took of her “enjoying” the swing.

I scrapped again!

This must be some kind of record for me. I haven’t scrapped twice in one week in I don’t know when. I’m in a full blown designing slump so I’ve been spending my free time scrapping. I suppose it’s a good thing since I have tons of unscrapped photos. At this rate though, I’ll never catch up. This layout was created using Sue Jones Meyar kit. I’m definitely going to be using this kit again in the near future. I know I’ve said this before, but I love Sue’s style and her kits are so easy to scrap with. I hope she doesn’t mind me raiding her store.
So, I was browsing blogs today. I stopped by Sharia Braxton’s blog and and her most recent blog post title caught my eye immediately: Whaaaatt Doooooeeessssss the YYYeeelllllooooowwwwww Liiiighhhhtt Mean?!?! I saw that and I thought of my friend from high-school, Julie Hamre. (Are you reading this Julie?) It’s from an episode of Taxi. Good old Rev. Jim. I think this was one of the funniest episodes of Taxi that I have ever seen. My friend Julie thought loved this episode back in the day. Good times…good times. :) Gosh that was a long time ago.

Well, it’s been a long day. Time for me to hit the hay. One of these days I’ll have enough time for a proper blog post.

I scrapped!

Why is this a big deal? Because it seems like I never seem to have enough time to fit it in anymore. Especially now with summer on the horizon. Lately, we’ve been visiting one of the many gorgeous parks in our neighborhood on a pretty regular basis. Isabella loves it since there are always tons of kids her age to play with.

Here’s a photo I took of my eldest and my youngest daughters at the park enjoying the beautiful view. I used Sue Jones Vintage Valentine Elements and Papers available at Digitals. If you get a chance, check out her store. This lady does some of the most amazing background papers I have ever seen. I just love her style. She always includes some interesting elements in her kits as well. I am never disappointed when I get one of her kits. They always rock! Swing by her blog. She’s been known to offer up a tasty sample now and then.

Keep in mind, today, June 15 is Designer Appreciation Day at Digitals. Many designers, including me, are having a one day only sale! Lots of great stuff, big discounts!

Don’t forget to take a look at the poll on the right side bar of this blog and let me know what you like in a scrap kit! It only takes a second. Thanks!

I’m sure most of you know Erica Nunez (erica922). She has been around the digi-scrapping community for quite some time, and probably one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. She has been on my creative team since before I officially had one LOL. Erica has created a series of 8×8 quick pages using elements from my Life Is Good page kit. We have decided to share them with you!

Be sure to read Erica’s terms of use and stop by her blog and her Digitals gallery to see her other beautiful layouts.

Keep an eye out…more to come. Click the graphic.
